MBA followed by Doctoral degree (PhD) in Corporate Finance, offering multifaceted experience in operations, sales, marketing & commercial functions with major companies internationally. Have the distinction of setting and turning around business, business diversification & creating revenue streams, consulting on business projects, winning financiers' confidence on projects,embracing new technologies, providing supply chain solutions, etc. Additionally he is experienced in heading University level administration for world class Universities. Career

My experience is concentrated in manufacturing and general Business Management Activities. I have improved production and profit. I have about 34 years of work experience, with over 24 years of management experience, including at leadership level positions.

I have over 31 years of experience in industry in operation, commercial, sales, marketing and at board level. I have held board membership, non executive directorship, adviser and consultant to a number of major companies. As head of operation I have reduced cost and increased production on long term basis based on innovation in process and encouraging product innovation. I have increased profit on sustained basis. I am trained in technology identification and making them useful. I support innovation in all aspects in a company. I have been head of factory, marketing, trading and technology transfer and business development. I have recently done a project in Accra for Education promotion.

I have helped to revive loss making businesses and set up new factories and businesses. I have successfully negotiated transfer of technology in to India with European and North American companies. I have helped to make many small and large projects accepted by international funding agencies. As CEO I was involved in making financial consortium of I billion USD for IT Park project for a Local Government. I was also consultant to ADB Bank for a year.

Social Service: I have helped academics mainly in management education. Even as Vice Chancellor I have improved the standard of University taking lower remuneration for about 10 years in academics.

What I can bring with me

I shall bring in the skill of reducing cost at all levels not always reducing working staff. I shall bring my experience of handling union and ability to streamline production. I will be able to introduce the thinking among staff to innovate and produce goods and services which others will copy.   • Made Project report with three ‘D’ CD and financing proposal for IT Park in a state of India. The total financial consortium done was for USD$ 1 Billion. The consortium members were Sembcom, Singapore, Capita Ltd, UK,Thermoselect, USA.

  • When with Kalamazoo- Gillanders
